President's Day

Once every Rotary Year (July 1st to June 31st) the newly elected President of our club holds a social gathering of his friends, family, members and partners at some pleasant location to celebrate his becoming President. In the past we have gathered at the Eccleshall Castle, the Eccleshall Cricket Club, the Walton Hall school, Crown Hotel Stone and President's gardens.

Mostly they have been glorious days with the weather behaving itself and the food and drinks flowing in a marvellously friendly atmosphere. However on occasion the weather has let us down.

In the current year President Steve and first lady Dawn used the Holy Trinity Church and the Eccleshall parish room for the buffet lunch.

Sunday July the 1st was the first day of President Steve Groom's year and the day for his celebration service and buffet lunch.
