The present officers were instructed to carry out eh procedure to dissolve the club as of that date.
Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Eccleshall & district, my name is Steve Groom and I had the honour of being the eighteenth and final President of our club.
We have had a great eighteen years and we are all sad that the club has closed. Many of us have happy memories of the club and will keep them for a long time. The problems that the club has had over the past two or three years and the gradual decrease in membership along with a lack of suitable venues locally inevitably led us to the closure of the club. Until the rental fee expires we shall keep the club website as a reminder of our happier times and the positive things that we have achieved locally, and helped to achieve nationally and internationally.
